Progress so far...

Ok so me and jeff have reworked the Maya animatic with poses or as many as we can anyway 2-3 days of work but we finally finished it and i think the pacing and the shots tighten up the story. I feel in the first one as a animator we did not have enough shots of Terry Jones the main character we have corrected this and i feel we will benefit from it in the final animation.

This pose is clearly rough but he is supposed to be Awkward so i have shifted his weight on to his left side and he fiddling with his hands. His body is very closed and restricted to show his awkwardness.

This is almost a total contrast to the previous image at this point he is a lot more confident and this is the big finish for one of his songs. His body i open to signify his growing confidence and his shoulder up.

Monty Python - why factor

Ok so we are doing the Monty Python for the third year project and all seems good and everything working well. We have now done a draft of the 3d maya shot animatic after 2 days of sitting down and discussing cameras and various shots we will have a film that tells a story not  only through audio and animation but through camera shots. I will start animating again next week so looking forward to it.
